Garelli Monaco Scooter - who owns one?
Bei der Durchsicht alter Anzeigen bin ich hin und wieder auf einen von Agrati in England angebotenen "Monaco" Roller gestoßen. Abgebildet wurde dieser leider nie. Beim Besuch des Beaulieu National Motor Museum habe ich dann den unten abgebildeten Prospekt in einer Vitrine entdeckt:
While looking for adverts of Capri Scooters, i found in some of them from Agrati a scooter named "Monaco". There never was a picture of it showen. On a trip to the Beaulieu National Motor Museum, i found these brochure in a showcase:
Der Roller ist ebenfalls im Buch "Agrati Garelli - 80 anni di storia" abgebildet. Der Bildtext beschreibt den Roller als "für den deutschen Markt konzipiert". Hier habe ich jedoch noch nie einen Hinweis auf den Roller gefunden.
The scooter is also pictured in the book "Agrati Garelli - 80 anni di storia". The caption describe the scooter as "designed for the german market". But in ever found any information about the scooter here in Germany.
In einer italienischen Zeitschrift fand ich die Abbildung ohne Namenszusatz, auch fehlte das im oberen Prospekt sichtbare vordere Federbein:
In a small, old italian magazin, i found this picture of the scooter, but no name for it. As you can see, the is also no suspension unit at the front wheel:
Agrati Garelli Capri de Luxe - oder doch Monaco Scooter?
Alex hat mir dann die Abbildungen eines italinischen Prospekts zukommen lassen, die den Monaco jedoch als "Capri de Lux" mit eindeutig dem Capri entnommenem Motor und Rahmen zeigen:

Noch ein Monaco oder "Capri de Lux" innerhalb der Produktpalette von Agrati Garelli (AgGar) in einer mit unbekannten italienischen Zeitsrchrift.

Wer weiß, wer solch einen Roller besitzt bzw. kann mir einen Kontakt zu einem Besitzer herstellen? Wer besitzt weiteres Material, Bilder oder Tests zu dem Roller oder kann Quellen vermitteln?
Who knows more about the Monaco scooters, owns one or knows somebody who owns one? Who have more material of these scooters: pictures, articles in magazins, partlists, owner manuals and likes to send me copy of them?
